ALTERNATIVES TO FORECLOSURE SEMINARS PROVIDED BY NEW HAMPSHIRE BANKING DEPARTMENT

Are You Facing Foreclosure?

The New Hampshire Banking Department has organized several informational seminars designed to assist residents facing foreclosure.  Speakers from the NH Attorney General’s Office, NH Legal Assistance and local housing counseling agencies will discuss:

Ø    The Making Home Affordable Program

Ø    Deed in lieu of foreclosure

Ø    Short sales

Ø    Mediation and other alternatives to foreclosure

“Our goal is to help residents understand their options and to encourage them to be proactive if they want to save their home,” stated Deputy Bank Commissioner Robert A. Fleury.

Seminars are offered in Concord, Gilford, Keene, and Manchester.
