To apply for free legal services, or to refer someone else for services, scroll down and fully complete the application. Concerned for your safety? Click here to read more about computer safety.

Legal Advice & Referral Center will assess your application and call you to complete the screening or contact you by email or regular mail if we determine that we cannot provide additional assistance. Your file may also be referred to New Hampshire Legal Assistance for further assessment and assistance.

Most people will receive legal advice over the telephone to help them handle their own legal matter.

Completing an on-line application does not guarantee that you will receive legal assistance. Financial eligibility requirements, program priorities, available resources and our ability to reach you will be some of the factors that determine whether or not New Hampshire's Legal Services programs can provide you with legal assistance.

Only provide an email address if you are the only person who has access to it.If other people have access to the emails that you receive, please leave this field blank.
Please enter the first, middle, and last names of the person applying for legal services in the fields provided.
We'll need to contact you on a week day during our business hours. Tell us what time between 9am and 4pm would be most convenient for you.
If you are submitting this application for someone other than yourself, then please let us know who you are and tell us about your relationship to the applicant (family member, service provider, etc.)
If you are in fear for your safety, this on-line application is not suitable to address your immediate needs. Please call 911 if this is an emergency, or call the Statewide Domestic Violence Hotline for immediate support: 1-866-644-3574.
